Basic PT
When I was in the Army, Basic PT stood for basic physical training upon joining the military. heres my attempt at Kirks PT physical training on the fretboard. just trying to branch out across the neck and make it sound like something. PT is opening my eyes so fast that my playing skills can't keep up...Yeah, I'm just a private but I'm luvin it and looking forward to each promotion towards "Captain"

X4, sounds like the training is coming right along! Of course if there was anything below a private that would be my designation! Sounds good to me! I'm stalled out right now and not playing a lot since my surgery, but I've got to go back and read and listen to the DVD and start anew! Good luck!!!

Right X4, it's taking longer than I thought. I'll have a good day or 2 then a bad one. Guess that's to be expected. I hope it gets better soon cause I'm scheduled for a New England/Canada cruise Sept 15th.
Yes, I've got to get back into the practice habit. Can't sing yet, everything I read says that could be several months before it clears up and occassionally it can be permanent, but I'm thinking positive!
Love PT, just got to spend more time with it!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
