I liked it fine, the notes and rhythm are always spot on and clear.
There's a melody in the bass parts thats so familiar, an old tune,
its right there and i can't think of it

tomg...thanks, can't help you on the old tune, does sound familar

Eddie...thanks, I agree. This was thrown together quick, I do alright with the single note stuff, its those chords where I'm still sufferring, and in this one I think its the fx I added to the chords that cheapens the sound, well that and my playing as usual....LOL

Knight46..thank you also

Cool tune, Kenny. It kinda had an "Endless Summer" feel to it.

I think it is cool, but maybe a little too fuzzy on the chords? That is subjective anyway.
Good stuff.

Thanks Guys, if you go over into "collaborations" SlickCat added some kick-azz slide to this and made it much more presentable{Thanks again SlickCat}, Second one of mine he layed his golden touch on an made into a real tune,{see "ElderRock3 with slide" also in collabs under "yeah another one" page 4}

Slick's definitely got the chops. He added a real tasty solo to the "Weekend" collab too!

Speaking of "Weekend" - has anybody played that for others and gotten a favorable opinion? My wife absolutely LOVES it, and a few friends have thought it was a very cool song also....

Mess????? There's stuff on tv (usually late at night) which will show you exactly what a 'mess' should sound like
Chords sound fine to me X4, don't give up on them.
Just my opinion of course but when you switch back from chords to single notes a little of the tunes' power is lost. Overall though it's a nice tune.
