Nice tomg....hope you don't mind, I took out the hiss.
Your vox are sounding much better to me lately, have you changed something in your recording set-up?

That's really good Tom, You do the 'mushy love songs' well, maybe that's your niche? sounds a lot better, cleaner and clearer with the hiss taken out too - nice one X4.

never had much success with it. I will try it tonite.

No problem tomg, once you play around with it, you'll see its simple to do.
However it would be best to try and find the source of the hiss instead if covering it, did you notice how it changes the tone of the guitar in my post? I'm no expert, but I would start by checking connections{be sure their tight} then cables{remove/replace one at a time}. Rockerbob even mentioned how the pc fan can cause hiss, this is something I need to look into more myself. Covering should be a last resort.
These last couple of recordings you've posted have sure sounded better in the vocal department.

Thanks x4, I was running the air conditioner because i
was dying, but also the humidity makes the mic pop. Would
you mind if i downloaded the one off your soundclick and replace
it with mine?
my internet connection keeps goin in and out now
