2 Zoned Out
After 8 days of working 12-14 hours daily, sleeping in my camper away from friends and family...I AM 2 Zoned Out, and I have a bad case of the blues.
I did this one in about 45 minutes from the time I hit record until I had it dowloaded on soundclick, so it's a bit rough but all I had time for. It's just a one chord thing that I had in my head.

Thanks, you guys.
The new Duncan Antiquities pickups have improved the tone a lot. Much more noticeable in person than on the recording, though.

That came out nice. What sort of equipment are you using (in addition to the Duncan Antiquities)?

I kept waiting for the drums to kick in with the other instruments for a full tune.

Thank you all for listening to it and for the comments. I know I have a long way to go and can't compare to many of you, but I'm having fun and working hard at it.
I was using a mim Strat > TonePort > Audacity. I used a Warren Haynes Soldano tone (gain turned down) for the rhythm, and a '53 small tweed for the lead.
I do know I need to find some drum tracks or some way to make a drum track.

Toneport sounds good. I used to have a GuitarPort. Other than being tied to the computer I had no complaints with it.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
