Prison blues (comin after you)

Well this is a major departure from my usual stuff.
Sometime i find a BT i just take to, even tho there
may be some bad notes, scales are something i practice
from the beginning with my open chords. I opened up on
the vocals here on some lyrics i wrote. There's some maroca
in the end too. My new mic should be here end of week
and i will sing this again with it, unless you like this sound

I will eddie, boy you'd think i would know better by now.
The thing is the axe goes out of tune all strings at once
so if i ain't worried about what key i'm in it all sounds
the same with songs. BT's ya can't be out of tune

foolish if its the wrong key. I didn't save the last one to compare.
some spots still sound a bit off anyway its updated and
thanks guys

Fly, this is my electric acoustic plugged into my soundcard

That's good news Tom, I thought it was another 'age thing' not being able to hear the 'out of tune' parts!!
I listened again 'just in case'.

Well I think it sounds more in tune this time. So this is an original with a generic backing track? I'd like to hear it again with the new mic as this one still seems harsh.

You're using this mic with your new mixer right? Do you have a 3 band eq on the mic input of the mixer? If so you might want to play with that some.

Best I can tell it seems like you've got the right key!

Oh yeah... the lead lines sound good.

Pretty cool job, Tom. I didn't hear the first one, but it sounds like you were in tune that time. You snuck in a little phaser or auto-wah on part of it toward the end there - sounded neat.

The new mic should make your vox sound a lot better - but keep ahold of the one you have, there's times you might want that kind of sound for certain songs!

Thanks all glad i'm in key then

strat, that was wah wah auducity, i am gonna keep this mic

fly, the mic i have now has to go in the input, seems the only thing
in the 3 channel eq that does anything is the mid. I still need to
get a usb cable.
Everything is original except the BT, i did the lead, vocals and moracca's. I am gonna do the vocals again with the
other mic (its backed logged shipping)
I've been lazy with the mixer, i haven't figured out how to use
the effects, i think that has something to do with the control
room out.
BTW, found the BT in AT's thread 'so you want BT's' in solid walnuts
