Missing You These Days - new original

Hey Folks,

Trying to dial in some new hardware and wound up writing a new tune. For those keeping track, this one is Capo's on 2 out of the G position. It's yet another three chord tune. GCF. (ADG non-capo)

Apologies for the hum. I've got to set a new ground path and freaking remember to turn off ceiling fans! Double whammy.

Kind of a lonesome sounding tune though done in all major chords. Throwing that F (B for the non-capo'd) in there put the meat to it.

Anyway..

Missing You These Days [ 4.5Mb @4:38]

Thanks for listening.....

Nothing like a solid F to take you where you want to go, LC! LOL

Awesome song! Love the full-out sound of the, "I'm missing everything about you.." after the softer sound of the verses.

Really well done, Les. I can picture this with a full band, too, so it translates well from one guy with a guitar...

Oh, and I hear harmonies on the chorus..hmmmmmm LOL

Thanks folks,

Appreciate your taking the time.

I can really hear all the flaws this morning. So I'll be re-recording this tonight. I've done a bit of a rewrite, rather tidying up some lyrics on it too.

Duly noted, Ell!

Yep, Eddie. New Audio Technica Pro 61 mic and patched through a Behringer EX 3200 sonic maximizer.

Thanks for listening folks.

I thought that was very well done, now you got me waiting to see "how?" can you improve it.

That was great , real hook in that chorus. Wonderfully crafted work. Bravo

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
