A song for Mavis { original Instrumental }

SoundClick song info: Song For Mavis by hilch - Song info page with free MP3 music downloads

Is a picece I was playing around with , story behind this is :

I record every thing I do then go back later and see if I can do better at a later stage . I knew my Mother and father in law were over at our house but it was practice time I had already done my little warm up routine and really wanted to try and work out how to make a tune from finger picking ..

So I started playing away with this being recorded as per usual , I was getting in to it , playing away and thinking to myself this isn't sounding to bad at all .
After 3 minutes I finished the recording and as I laid my guitar down to stop th recording .
There was clapping from behind me , my in laws had quietly opened the door and my wife , sister in law , mother in law and father in law were all clapping saying that was very nice and how much they enjoyed it ..

I hope it is as good for you all as it was for my in laws ..

I call it a song for Mavis , thats my mother in law and she wanted me to play it again and again , after the 4 th time I had to stop as WOW my hands were getting sore ..

Please enjoy "A song for Mavis "

No there isn't any singing

Trev...

Nice jog Trev,
Your playing certainly has gotten better, as reflected by this tune.
Now try to play the other one. Everybody Lies. You can do it.

Mavis, Mavis, come and save us,
Thought it strange that you'd crave this,
Standing in the door and cheerin' on,
Lovin' up your Hilch-y's song
Hands get sore and still I play,
Just for you, my dearest May...

LOL

Elle
