Wasted Day

My off to you people that do a lot of recording.
What a frustrating, convoluted process it is.

Please forgive my attempt at singing.

Brilliant, I can't imagine anyone not liking this!!
Loved the guitar playing - and the lyrics, well they're perfect!
Recording was great, if it's any consolation I spent all of last Saturday
trying to record and I messed up everything; at the end of the day I'd
got nothing at all! Frustrating?.. yes, very.

That's fantastic Skinny, I had a smile on my face the whole way through. The best thing about it is it works as a song too, and isn't just some amusing lyrics. Very catchy with some nice playing and well produced too. The voice isn't at all bad, you can still hear a hint of your 'old' accent too.

A few more of these and Jomi will be asking to be your manager.

Delightful! Clear enunciation too. On songs like this that are done in the minor chords, it is sometimes fun to do the second line of each verse in the major chord. Second line only though, and with the last word of that line back in the minor.

Looking forward to more.

Great job Skinny. I had just finished listening to Jomi's latest and then found your recording and it rounded off my morning. Loved the playing and the lyrics were perfect.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
