Just a melody
Here is a guitar melody I though I'd share.
Hope you like it. Its a first take with no frills. Working on mic settings also used it for Gentle Irish lyric post.
Just guitar.

Nicely done Eddie, that definitely has a Celtic lilt to it. A little bit melancholy too in keeping with the lyrics. Starsailor will be inspired for sure. One thing is that it's a little bit difficult to make the melody out, it's a little overpowered by the bass and harmony notes. Perhaps a bit of equalisation could bring it out a bit more.

Very very nice Eddie.
Somehow this and the pic of one of your vehicles you posted in the chit chat forum today just don't seem to match up.
Thanks for posting. I really enjoyed listening.

si,
Thanks for letting me know, I did this in garage band for the first time and gonna play around with the equalizer settings. Some overtones must be from using too much reverb or echo. Lesson learned.

Thank you Clancy for taking a listen and look.
As far as the truck, I'm still an old cowboy at heart. I don't fit in a Vette very well. Losing weight, so maybe soon.
Besides the kids out there love it when it rolls through town.

Very nice. I was waiting for the strings to come in at about the 30 sec mark, closely followed by the rest of the orchestra. Has that movie title track feel about it.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
