Tomg123,
I think it was great that you posted again (far from obnoxious) isn't that what this forum is all about, learning, trying new things, getting advice?
I like the reverb but I can't make my mind up about the echo. It tends to cover up that 'ominous' background music a little yet at the same time, it doubles up what's going on in the foreground.
It's playing now while I type, and I think you should bring up the background volume a little. Just my opinion of course and whatever you decide I still really really like this tune.

Thanks jomi, i did notice it was covering the original track i laid down, so i kicked the gain to 3 before i posted here but it wasn't enough. I was just fooling with it more and found some clipping if i put it up to loud. So tomorrow i will try to strike a balance with the echo left in. I guess this is gonna be in head for a bit longer

Tomg,
I believe that eddiez's suggestion added a bit of fullness to the piece with out changing the feeling. I am not sure about the echo, after listening a couple of times I think I agree with Jomi and Skinny. But please continue to post.

Hmmm,....i still like the echo, but the track with the echo came on to strong i think. So i turned up the original background, tuned down the echo track and left the echo out at the end. The original background does fade out at the end though, thats how i made it. I'm wondering why to my ear the echo sounds good maybe this new version offers a compromise

The echo IS good Tomg123, it was the mix that was wrong, this is spot on, that 'scary' background music comes through beautifully.
I wasn't sure of the echo at first, now I am, well done!
Thank you for giving it a try.
Do you like it this way?

Tom,
Good job, yes that does fit a lot better. There are so many things that can be changed in a piece of music that can have an effect, just a balancing act to fit the pieces together so that the fit is what the author wants.

Very cool and eerie sounding , tom.
What was that percussiony bit in the backround? Was that a drum track or was that you tapping on your guitar.I liked it.It gave that thriller movie ambience.
