Masquerade (Re-recorded)

Did this one a couple of days ago - just acoustic and vocals. Wasn't completely happy with the vocals, they were right at the low end of my comfort zone, so I shifted everything up a whole tone. Acoustic guitar was no problem - played the same chords, capoe'd at the second fret. But because I'd practised the song a lot before I recorded it, when I came to add electric and bass I kept straying back to the original chords!

It took me a while, but I made it!

So here's the second version. I was going to add some organ and drums....I don't think it needs the organ, to be honest, but I'll try and add drums over the weekend.

As always. feedback gratefully received.

The music sounded happy and jangly...however the words...surgical steel and salt in a open wound..whoa!
But...I liked it!

You have a real Lou Reed vibe going on there. Cool.
