Slow going

I'm going up the learning curve mountain, but my shoes must be wet and slippery cause I'm not making much progress, But at least I'm still moving, used 3 tracks this time...WooHoo. Don't recall where this diddy came from, my ol memory ain't what she used to be... go ahead and laugh, you'll be my age someday. {CFCGFC}

That's got it. Now that is a country twang going on right there. You need a tele for that. Cool. You have some room in there to put in a tasty solo.

Sounds pretty good, although you'll likely want to cut your recording levels a touch- I hear some clipping in there! I think this is perfect for practicing your soloing skills!

Well played X4stringDrive, I'm on that learning curve too, having very poor results with multitracking - I find it really hard to play and shut up at the same time!! did you actually play the drums or are they software made?

Thanks YouToo, don't know if I can call that "lead" in the second take, but to steal your words, it felt real nice playing it.

Sounds real good, Kenny....I was really diggin' that! You did a good job on the solo in the second one - it fit with the song real well.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
