Godzilla - Foolin' around with the amp

Hey, all. Been pretty busy lately and not able to do much recording. Was fiddling around with the amp/mic set up to see how they would sound and decided to use Godzilla by BOC as a "test case". I only did the intro and first verse, although it came out good enough that I might work on the rest of the song as well.

Sounds good, lets hear the rest. Was that a slide with the long bend up and down at 30sec?

Yup- first time I've ever actually made anything remotely musical with a slide. Usually the slide just sits on the shelf and laughs at me

I've always loved the BOC classic "Godzilla"

Hey bro! That was reallly good! How the heck did you do that sliding panned from left to right? Was that an effect of your software or was 2 mics on a console? The sound was pretty good too. Congrats but please...make us a favor and finish it!

Hey, GT! That's high praise coming from you! The panning was done with the software. I'm able to record mixer moves as part of the mixdown process- lets you do some pretty nifty things.

Sounded great, Chris. What did you use for the drum track?
