If I may be so presumptious

I get a lot of enjoyment and inspiration from members who post their own music on this forum. Jomi set us all off with his "Hug Me Like You Care" a few weeks ago.

I listened to that over and over and a song or sort of a dialog began to form in my mind, so thinking it is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to get permission, I will imitate Jomi. I'm not preaching here but if you can last through the first few verses I think you will see where I am going with the lyrics.

Chammon,
That was great, I enjoyed the guitar work and you have a lovely laid back style with your vocals.
I'm tickled pink that my song has in some way inspired you, thank you so much for saying that. I definitely wouldn't call it 'imitation' though, it's all your own work and you deserve credit for it, well done

John

Thanks for the kind comments. My voice reached the end of it useful life some years back as far as singing is concerned, so I'm beginning to focus more on just playing the guitar when I perform in public settings. But I still enjoy composing lyrics that tell a story.

Dang, when the song first started I thought I was listening to Don McLean.

Beautiful, Chammon ... and I don't agree, your voice still has a zillion notes left to sing.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
