Holy Cow! - For all of the baseball fans :)
We took the grandson's to baseball practice today. I had taken my reso to practice some other things but soon enough with the sun shining and the crack of bats I started with that famous tune, Take Me Out To The Ballgame. All that's missing is the peanuts and cracker jacks!
And after all that, it's only a 40 sec clip ..... none-the-less, I hope you enjoy this little bit of finger picking fun!

Cool stuff there Les, very emotive.
A few years back my mum was in the house on her own and she somehow managed to fall and break her ankle. After lying in pain for some time she managed to reach the phone and call for help (she has made a full recovery). As it turns out the film 'Take me out to the ballgame' was on TV and she was watching it but she got a bit carried away and started singing and dancing round the room with the dog. She stood on one of her shoes that was lying about the room and this is what caused her to fall. Bad enough doing it but actually admitting it?
Whenever she comes over I always try and throw in a little excerpt from this song to see her reaction but she never takes the bait. It won't stop me trying though.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
