Scotch Mist

Here's my latest Celtic-flavoured composition. I like the name, Scotch Mist, which I came up with just a few minutes ago.
I hope you like it - the music, I mean. Not just the title

That was very nice, Fretsource. I really liked the way you have the melody line fall into the bass line - if I described that right. You have a few notes in the melody treble and carry the melody on a few octaves down in the bass register. Nice effect.
Really nice sound too - how did you record it?

Thanks Doug I'm glad you like it - I used an Epiphone steel string acoustic, recorded through a condensor mic, to the computer - then added a touch of echo using some software (Goldwave). I'd like to improve the quality of the sound, so I've been reading up on Tekker's and Steve's (Solid Walnut) lessons for tips to improve it.

Fretsource,
Very nicely done, and sure got the Celtic sound. Now since that only took you a few minutes, can you do more in your spare time ?

I loved it, it sounded a little familiar like the theme to an old TV show but i couldn't put my finger on it

That is beautiful, for me it was like listening to a story of a thousand years of history, being told in the form of music.

Very, very nice and soothing. I had a pretty rough day today, and that was a much needed refresher. Your weeks of effort sure show through, and ...thanks for sharing that.

Thanks a lot guys. I had been thinking of adding more instruments - but it seems to work well enough as just a guitar fingerstyle piece.
