I have been playing for approximately one year. I consider myself a beginner.

I tried to play this song. the tab is from this site. So what do you guys think. I admit it has some "oops" moments but anyway....Any feedback is appreciated.

Thats coming along great. You need to hit the melody line on the top strings a bit harder in places so it doesn't get drowned out,but all in all a great effort. congrats

Pretty good! what a cool song to be able to play, probably my favourite lesson Kirk's done. The more comfortable you get with it the smoother it should get and you'll be able to squeeze more feeling out of it. You might want to try tapping your foot along with the beat if you don't already to help keep good time.

I bet your friends/family are impressed

Excellent xirisx ... fantastic job, and even more so considering you've only been playing for a year. There are those who were born to be twangers, and you're one of them, obviously. Your take is very musical ... keep recording, keep posting. You're going to be an inspiration for others here, playing like that.

wooooah.... All of you are giving me such good feedback. I always thought that I should play better bcz I've been playing for a year (I think that with one year people should be able to play better that I do).

Thanks for your advice Allthumbs and Mushroomlord. I'll try to keep the melody running on the lower strings also and I'll try to keep better time.

Thank you everybody.

Xirisx:

I wish I can play like that. Very impressive. I agree with the others, once you play more and you will be able to even put more feeling into it. Great great job!!!

xirisx: How do you record yourself? It seems that we are using a smiliar setup (spanish acostic with nothing else). I been looking for an easy way to record myself onto the computer but I still ain't sure how to proceed..?
It doesn't need to fancy or anything - just a recording actually.

I use my mp3 player to record (my mp3-player records and plays).

If you have a microphone you can use this free software: http://www.topshareware.com/FREE-Hi-...sfer-37524.htm

And yes I am playing with a spanish acoustic guitar.
