  Just pretend

your listening to a Radio from the early 1900's, then my recording skills will sound good.
Here's the melody to the waltz I posted a while back.
It's not played very well, But it was fun to do, figuring out all that piano music on guitar. I really learned something there.
Now I'n going to work on getting the Rag Time Rythm right, thisone is loosely played.

Sweet. I like it. I love the rag time feel.

  thank you

I think, it's actually too fast, I gonna try it again about 2/3 rds of that speed, maybe I can get that rag time feel better. To me it is a certain sound in the timming, I know it when I hear it but can't seem to put my fingers on it playing.
I'll keeptrying though. Anyone have any suggestions on the rag time feel?
Jim

Hey bro, that was neat, I didn't think it was too fast, it sounds like a challenge to play. Keep at it ,love, johnbullard

John,

There are many style of guitar playing, as you well know. Not including classical guitar, the two the most difficult I've played have been Ragtime and Celtic. I think what you have done here is great work. Very cool.

I was waiting for Scott Joplin to kick in a few plinks on the ol' 88's!

Oh ,Les ,JBBullard is my identical twin brother. His name is Jim. It's really cool to have this internet connection because I haven't heard him play any guitar in years.I think this gfb&b inspired him to pick it up again after a 20 year layoff. JohnBullard

That was really cool- ragtimes are sure fun to play, at least on the piano. I haven't tried any guitar rags yet, although this may inspire me to do so!

definitely a rag to enjoy. Thanks for your bravery to post it. Even though it doesn't sound intentional the recording style adds an antique feel to it like you were listening off an old phonograph. That's what I would call a vintage sound.

six strings bangin' on a board, (makes it sound simple)
