Attachment 2439
Got my buddy Linda to do guitars...super job on those
I tackled the vocals...I have a few ideas for redoing the vocals,,there was a pop on the P of the word Proud....I need a pop shield
I am posting our first attempt at this classic.
Thx for listening

I'm sure that Mr Clapton himself would have given you the thumbs up on the guitar work in the song. Well done!

Great job on the guitars- the tone on the open lead were dead on like they were lifted off the original.

Really impressive!!
The guitar playing is indistinguishable in both tone and quality to the original - and that's saying a LOT. Linda is quite a guitarist!! Is Linda a professional, because that's incredible playing!!!
The vocals are good, but I think maybe a little bit high for your comfort range... or maybe just more practice on it will get you used to that range. It just sounded like you had it down, but were straining a bit. But, you still did a great job!
My hats off to you two - I'm super impressed!

thx guys your feedback has helped me alot....I went back and retackled vocals today and i am gaining confidence and sounding better. I am fairly new to vocals, I have always just done guitar duties in the past.
thx guys

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
