Good effort, Tom. The mere fact that you've finished it off enough to record is commendable. It's not an easy thing to do, I know.

I kept waiting for it to go to F and C chords ... assuming you're playing it in Am. Lifting it out of the minor vibe could be an interesting way to spice it up a bit ... just a suggestion. Keep writing!

Thanks kirk and joe. I was starting to wonder if I should name it 'nobody loves this song' The chourus was AM and DM the verse C and E. This is one of 3 songs I wrote (words and music) the other two "lonesome blues" and " follow the money" were a little better ( you can check my attachments for them) I re did this song i'm wondering now if the first one wasn't better

I can't believe I missed commenting on this. I listened to the song a couple of times. Sorry bout that. It has potential. Kirk had some good ideas for you to spice it up. Well done, keep writing.

I like it Tom! I think a few more chord changes like Kirk suggested would spice it up, but it's a good song, and I hope you keep writing and playing/posting them here.

Good job!

Jim

Hi Tom,
Nice tune. As others suggested a little variety in the sound would round it out. Even a different strumming pattern would break it up and give the ear something to look forward to. Hey, I'm just a hack so take it for what it's worth, but that's what my ear was telling me!

Thanks guys if I have time I will try to do something with this, I can hear myself its bland, and I love getting advice and feedback . The thing is seems i'm always updating stuff and have ideas i'm just waiting to get better at playing. The best thing I do now is probably fingerpick, I should do stuff with that. Also my guitar needs adjusting, and me too

Nice catchy tune! I bridge with different chords would spice it up, but I don't always think it's required either.
