Final test with the Mama Bear

This is my resonator. It is only a cheap one, and for now it just has an SDSYSTEMS piezo stuck on the hard rubber under the bridge. I am looking to get a Fishman resonator pickup sometime soon and have that installed properly.
Same as before - pickup through Mama Bear and one without it. I have refrained from using my preamps etc to give more signal as I really just wanted to hear the Mama Bear and see what it actually did to the sound. I experimented with a few settings and then recorded with three. I have played with this for a couple of hours now, and have something of an idea of what it does, and my opinions on it, but I would appreciate comments on this as well.
Thanks very much

The second one seemed to lose a lot of tone. The fourth one sounded best to my ear.

I agree with Marty that #2 sounded the worse - it was dull.

I tended to like #1 the best - it was clean and crisp. #3 and #4 were OK..I'd rate them about equally.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
