Toy Story - You got a friend in me

Hey
I love playing this tune! I recorded this with my archtop, which has flatwounds, and are pretty dead even by flatwound standards.
The solo is pretty short, and for the blues police out there, be warned, modern jazz concepts ahead! I refrained from going as 'out' as I do on occasion though.

Nice. Does sound like you were holding back a bit. Go on a field trip man. We won't mind.

Sweet guitar tone! I really enjoyed that

I must also mention the fine quality of the recording... any chance of describing how you made it?

Very nice scotty, love that jazz stuff you do. One of my first ever guitars (an old Hofner) had tapewound strings and I used to like them because of their lack of extraneous noise but yeah, they're not exactly the choice of your average Blues player. I wasn't even sure if you can still buy them.

Nice sound
My daughter just asked from the other room :"That's the Toy Story theme song, isn't it?"

So you did it right!!

Man, that's cool. I really like the jazzy arrangement, too.
