Tears In Heaven - Video - Kush

Hi Family !!!

I hope everything is great there ! I'm doin fine

I just finished recording a video of "Tears In Heaven" which I completed 2 days back (after a long time of practice - I think this song took me about a month to complete !!!)

Just thought that I'd share this with you all and get a few comments on my progress. I think after a lot of confusions in my life, and due to not practicing as sincerely as before, my playing has become very "stiff" and I feel I play in a very "crude" manner.

Kindly have a listen and please tell me honestly whether I've deteriorated in Playing ? Also please excuse me for a few mistakes - I still find this song fairly difficult to play (specially the second-half, which is very-very challenging for me,ie jumping around the fretboard and a few pull-offs with the Pinky)

Anyways Take care friends and have a great day !

Kindest Regards and love to all
Yours
Kush

Very nice kush, and I don't think you've lost a thing. Pull offs with the pinky looks kind of difficult, never tried that. Thanks for posting.

Very impressive Kush - Well done! And I see you're holding the guitar better too. It looks more comfortable than before - and that comes across in your playing, which is sounding more relaxed and controlled. Great!

Welcome back to playing Kush!!!

It looks and sounds really good to me - I think you're being too hard on yourself...I don't think you've "lost" anything.

It's great to hear you again!!!

Hey, Kush... That was really good... I haven't heard/seen you playing before, so I can't say much about your progress, but I can say this was ok... A little more confidence, and you'll be the best!

I can see this is not the rendition from Kirk's lessons... Have you done this one yourself, or you have found tabs/sheet somewhere?

Bravo Kush! Looks like marriage hasn't affected your guitar playing one bit!
Nice job! I think your right hand work seems spot on and almost automatic. The chords (and they are tricky ones) seemed like more work for you, but you were working it out.

Hey Kush!.....Really nice work on that. If you lost anything during the time off, it's not real obvious. Getting better all the time!

Kush! Way cool Bro! That was a beautiful video and it sounded great! As a newcomer I haven't heard your stuff yet but I have seen your wedding pics while looking around in the forums here, read hundreds of your posts too. You are wonderful player and a wonderful person, your humility only makes it sweeter.

Music is in the soul as much as the fingers, you have plenty of capacity in both arenas my friend. Take care and continue to have a wonderful holiday.

Nice job with a nice arrangement. I was impressed with your right hand; it looked like you didn't have to put any effort into playing at all. Keep it up, but make sure not to neglect the wife (my wife still gets annoyed when she feels the guitar comes before her- and of course it doesn't!).
