Spaghetti
This G-Dec has 40 midi presets and this one is called ladies man. Is there any merit in this kind of noodeling ? I may never learn a complete song but this stuff is fun to do.
And it is funny how the melodies that you come up with differ between the Key and tempos.

Sure there is merit in noodling as long as you know what notes or intervals you are playing and why. When a riff doesn't work, you need to stop and anylize why it didn't work and where you should have gone. A valuable learning tool.

I can see a lot of merit in that. You hit some real nice notes in there. Good one.

Nocat - Thanks for the listen. Meant to reply sooner. That is the midi loop in the gedec. It has preset midi loops that you can jam to. I recorded that.

Hmmm, so that's why my noodling doesn't work.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
