  M*A*S*H - Video

Hi everyone. Some really good recordings on here recently, so thought I'd spoil it all by adding mine

I've always loved this tune (and the TV series) so when I saw Kirk's lesson on this I'd thought I'd give it a go.

My son has a play at school in a few weeks and it's themed on M*A*S*H, so guess who my son has stitched up to play the opening and closing credits 'live on stage'

On the plus side my mate is a M*A*S*H addict and when I played this for him he was mighty impressed with the arrangement.

Oh well, off to practice some more so I can nail it for my 'big night'

Thanks Kirk

Sleepy.

Sounding good Sleepy

I'm sure it'll be sounding even better by the time your 'big night' arrives Your son must be so proud of your playing if he wants you to do the credits .

Good luck

Well done- I had forgotten what a nice song that is. Might have to learn it myself (along with about a thousand other songs!)

Nice one, Sleepy. Especially as your son wants you to be involved.

I'd say you're more or less ready for it now. The defining part of this song for me is the opening riff, instantly recognisable. You just seem a bit tentative with it though and some of these opening notes could perhaps do with a bit more volume. Overall though, you'll knock them out. Better prepare some encore material!

Hey sleepy, nice playing! I'm old enough to remember that tune clear as a bell as it was on endlessly after school when I was growing up. I learned it on recorder when I was a kid!
Hey joe strummer, my son says your avatar creeps him out. I think he thinks your little guitar playing baby should have some pants on!
