Unchained Melody - Video Recording
Hello everyone,
I can't remember where I read it on here, but someone was asking for help on this song which lead me to go and find the lesson and record a little ditty.
What a great tune this is and I think it's quite easy for beginners (and if I can play it ) to get their head round. Kirk's lesson is wonderfully arranged. Simple but very very effective.
I've done a little video clip. Hope the sounds okay because I don't have any fancy recording equipment - just a plug and play mic and an unplugged Simon & Patrick acoustic.
Cheers,
Sleepy.
Edit: Found where I read it. It was in the Discussions section and hb was enquiring. Hope my little vid helps.

Hey Sleepy, nice job! Nothing sleepy about that playing. Looked like one of Kirk's lessons. I think master Kirk would be happy with that performance!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
