  Guitar Tango

Here is a well-known Shadows song
For a backing track I recorded other instruments from Guitar Pro. And the lead guitar is played by me
I will post soon this song played with my father (He will play rhythm guitar)

I love everything about this... I felt like I was listening to an old time recording played
on a gramophone... Excellent job, Les...!!!
I'm on my third listen... Awesome...!!!

I liked that Sale, some nice playing there. You must be looking forward to having your dad accompany you. Perhaps you could improve the quality of the recording next time. If you can get a 3 minute recording to come in at 252k, then there's going to be quite a lot of loss going on there just for starters, not to mention mics, sound cards, etc.

Havn't heard that tune for quite some time (I remember the original ) You've had a good stab at it. Will be interesting to see what your dad can impart. Keep up the good work.

Well done Sale. I used to play that tune, the Shadows are the reason I took up playing guitar. I heard Apache on the radio when it first came out... well, what could I do? I told my dad I needed a guitar. I guess I must have learned all their tunes, back then.

Good little backing track you made there too... Guitar Pro is pretty cool, huh?

Good job Sale. Shadows numbers always sound deceptively simple to me, It's only when you try to play one you realise what superb technique and great sense of melody Hank really has. I reckon if you can play a Shadows number well, you're on your way .....
