Working on Here Comes the Sun
This is another I am learning from scratch and working on it to my own interpretation
It's supposed to be capoed at the 7th fret
I WILL get one, one day
So this is played off the nut
As usual I can play it quite well until I hit the red button
Just the opening part
I am working on the links to bring it all together and the central riff which I can't seem to get quite right yet

That's getting there, micklen. The phaser sure gives it a neat sound. That end bit is tricky, ain't it? You really have to consciously count ' 123 123 123 1234 ... to fit those notes in. Good effort! I'll look forward to the revised edition.

Yes I think the major problem is I am using the wrong drum rythm
Only a fairly limited selection on my processor
I haven't quite got into Band in a Box yet
That may be able to help me later
Without the drums I can play it pretty seamlessly but if I stick with that rythm it seems to delay parts of it especially that end part
It will come eventually

If you have a look at the tab at the lesson I did for it, here Here Comes The Sun , you'll see how it goes from 4/4 to 3/8 to 2/4 ... you'll need to program the drum par to reflect these changes in time signature! Or do without altogether ...

Yes I see it now after listening to your version Kirk
Not sure I am up to programming drums yet
So I will do it without
Obviously I haven't got the fingering abilities to add the background like you so I will see if a bit of sustain will fill things out
Ok back to work

Nice job! I think you might be right about the drum pattern not being a perfect fit, but it works.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
