Smile   My second contribution - Sloop John B

This is one of the first melodies I learnt MANY years ago and I have always been able to play it fairly well and playing melodies such as this is my forte

I know I need to get more going on in the background but I now have a copy of Band-in-a-box and I am going to investigate that and see if I can put it to good use

Anyway a quite simple redition for your delectation

What I DO want to know is

When you press that record button why does the link between your brain and your fingers seem to lose most of it's cohesion

That's coming along. Recording Button Syndrome is a common phobia among players. Fear of recording buttons can be cured by repeated exposure to desensitize the player.LOL.

Nicely done. Reminds me that I should record some of the stuff I have been working (no fingerpicking yet)...

Nice sound, although I've only put one recording on, I know what you mean. I don't know how many times I had to hit that button before my brain started working. I'll just keep repeating it like allthumbs suggests.

Nice job!

It's a well known fact that all machines have a critical detection circuit that affects brainwaves. It's part of the plan for the eventual takeover by the machines.

Hey nice job
......sometimes this is what I do..... I do this for videos too..... I hit record...and then I just keep going, again and again, I might have a 25 minute recording in the end.
Then I go back and clip out the best "take".

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
