I Want it that Way instrumental
Hey again guys,
I've been trying to figure this out today after watching those two Chinese students lip-syncing it on the web. I really got into it watching them, so...motivation. It's a fun song to play on guitar (I'm sure it was written on one). I'm playing it a tone down from the recording.
This one is the nylon on the crappy mic (my newly found steel string pickup is out of order ).
To those who listen to it, let me know if the transription sounds right to your ear.
Cheers,
Dugal.

Cheers for that. I'd like to try and add some more of the back ground vocals, but I think they'd be pretty hard to fit in. I'll see how I go.
It really is not a good mic. I got it from Tandy (I think it is Radio Shack in the States) for the same price as five coffees . But I guess if you heard it all right, maybe I should stop knocking it.

Great playing!! Sounds right to my ear. The mic is not all bad at all, it definetly gets your point across. It might sound a little richer with a nicer mic, but it does not sound bad at all. Keep em coming!

Very nice playing dugal.
I gotta learn that piece. You know you're doing well if others want to imitate you.
Theory is knowing about. Practice is knowing how.

Here's a steel version on the aforementioned mic.
Hope you enjoy it.

Both versions sound great to me, I enjoy your playing.
The steel version is slightly quieter on my pc, but recording quality is good on both steel and nylon.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
