Ok, heres my try at it!
I play it much better without having a recording program running
Anyway let me know what you think- where I made some mistakes, etc...
Please excuse my mistakes...

Cheers,
Jean

Very well done, Jean. Your progress is astounding. You seem to be rushing it a little though, about halfway through it sounded like you were racing to get it over with ... let our ears relish those notes! Take your time, especially on this one ... you can really let this one breathe, as Don does in the original.

wow that is really good. it sounds nice and since your already playing it fast you will be even better when playing it slower. thats pretty cool thanks for putting that up.

How long did it take for you to learn all that? that sounds so good

Thanks you two!
I sounded really too rushed, thanks for letting me know
I'll post up another one soon-

Canuck-Playa,
It took me about a two-three days to get this one down, its got a really flowing melody, I play it with alot more feeling 'offline' when I can listen to the flow and keep better time, I guess I alway 'rush up' when I record...

Thanks for everything guys

Well done Jean. The second version is so much more relaxed and pleasant to listen to.
Very nice indeed.

Much better, Jean. Keep working on it ... there are just a couple spots where you seem to add an extra beat or two. I can hear that you mentally have this divided into sections ... work on making them all merge into one.

For two-three days, you're doing amazingly well, Jean, and I know what you mean about playing better when the red light is off. My best playing always occurs when I'm alone, with no recorder going, with no one but me to hear!! What we need is someone to come along and secretly turn the recorder on without us knowing about it.

this going to sound stupid, but for me to build up confidince i first practice infront of one person then 2 people then soon i am playing it w/e i am. anyways I you should feel proud you just presented infront of 1000 people or something just thought i would point out the fact lol.

Dont worry that is wonderful. You added your own signature on it. thats pretty crazy Good luck on your next song

Thanks Kirk and everyone else!
I really can't explain this but its really true about playing better without the red light, A few months ago just the thought of others listening made me forget half the melody as soon as I pressed the button...

Kirk, I have divided it up into parts, pretty dumb on my part I'm working on it though.

Thanks alot for listening!

Wow that's pretty good. I just started the lesson my self last night. You can pull it off in a couple days, I going for a couple bars per night.
It would be nice to hear your progress in a month or two after you become completely familiar with this song. To the point you don't even have to think about it.

That sounded very good for a few days, fingerpicking songs aways sound easy until you try to learn them. I agree totaly about the red lght too kirk.
