My first recording...
Well I made my first recording. Kirk, this was the best song I have learned so far and I thank you for your teachings. The song is unchained Melody. Kirk, I used your verison of the song. I know its super slopy but I'm only 14. Well I'll try to get my playing to sound better. Well thanks.

Very nicely done JDbc.
I like that you sounded like you were trying the play the music more than just playing the notes, if that make any sense.
I've been working on the Kiss Me lesson for a few weeks, now I need to figure out how to record and post the student version .
Also been browsing the lessons trying to choose my next victim to booger up. Maybe you've inspired me to try the R.B. tune. I really like the Vincent lesson but I don't think I'm quite ready.
Keep up the good work and keep posting your progress. It helps everyone here.
Mike

Good on ya mate!
10 out of 10 for effort. I agree with Kirk, and if you keep it up you will no doubt develop into a very talented guitarist as you get older, that's for sure.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
