My first taste of feeling and improvement (I hope So)
Hi all
I've tried to improve on the various aspects that were troubling me and for which i had asked your help. (like timing, feeling etc) I've played "Love ME Tender" (which was my first fingerstyle arrangment) again but as per you guys had adviced and i hope i've improved atleast a bit.
Allthumbs, i really want you to advice me whether i've shown atleast a bit of improvement on the concentration, continuity, timing and feeling factors, (in-contrast to my past posting of the same song) . I've tried to relax and implement all the useful advice you had given me. Please try to reply.
I'm really greatful to all my friends over here, i'm really walking towards my dream because of you all. Thank you sooooo much for everything.

You should put your first take in this post too so people can hear the difference. This take has so much more life in it compared to your first take. I really enjoyed it. Bravo, you should be very pleased with yourself. Tender indeed, almost melancholy.

Kush you must have worked really hard, that was beautiful. It had more feeling and sounded relaxed and controlled. Sounded like you were enjoying it. I certainly did. Very well done mate!
By the way, your pm inspired me to spend more time practising today. Thanks for that.
(Still) nowhere, man.

nagu-mon,
You've got it going on. You didn't miss a lick. I am seriously impressed. That is one difficult song to pull off. The concentrated "slowness" of the song is not overly conducive to guitar... at least for me.... But you have done an excellent job in not only performing the melody but also giving the melody depth and breadth. Very cool.
A tip-o-the-hat from this Ulster Scot. Very cool indeed.
Les

Kush......excellent, well done mate! You really have improved and I'm sure your determination and attitude have much to do with it, as well as the skills you have accumulated along the way.

Nagukush, I don't know how you have time to practise with all the posting that you do here but you can tell that you have been. There's a marked difference between the two recordings and for me it's in the feel. The first recording was good but seemed a little forced because you were trying not to make mistakes. By the second recording you've obviously got the piece down perfectly and so it flows, and feels, much better. Great stuff.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
