  She talks to angels- Black Crowes

Here is my attempt at this song. Its played in Open E. I could only record for 60 seconds because Im using the sound recorder on my PC and a cheap mic. Ive been playing for 2 months now and loving every minute of it. I have to get used to this recording thing cause i get nervous and make mistakes when usually I wouldnt. Thanks for listening.

Very nice! You've certainly come a long way in 2 months.

The Windows sound recorder sucks. Audacity is a FREE multi-track recording program that works great. You can download it here....

Very well played. I'm sure you'll agree it was worth the effort. As for the nerves, I'm the same and a few other people have mentined it too. Just keep posting and I'm sure they'll improve.

Very good Drabbag! I love that song. The Black Crowes have some great stuff.
That would be a fun song to sing.

BTW: I use Windows Recorder alot. One tick I found is to record 60s of silence, save it, then open another file do the same thing again, then go Edit, Insert File, then insert your 60s file - then you have a 2 minute file. You can do this ad nauseum till get you get the file with any length you require. I find that program works great.

Keep on rockin', that sounded great!

Here is the tab that Im using. I play it a little differently though. I learned this from tab and also from a friend...

Here is the link... http://www.guitaretab.com/b/black-crowes/1696.html

THere are a few changes I made to the below tab... Have fun with it.

To tune to Open E, raise the 5th (A) string to B (full tone)
raise the 4th (D) string to E (full tone)
raise the 3rd (G) string to G# (half tone)

As usual: h = hammer on
p = pull off
s = slide

The characters ^ and v below the tab indicate suggested strumming patterns
for chord sections (^ = strum up, towards the ceiling, v = strum down)

Very nice indeed! I like that tuning. I use a similer one for Crobsby Stills Nash and Young "Suite:Judy Blue Eyes" Its in a tuning called Bruce Palmer Madal tuning. (Bruce Palmer was in Buffalo Springfeild) the tuning is Low to high) E,B,E,E,B,E -all E's and B's -almost the same as open E. -the 3rd and 4th strings are the same octave!
