a fire down inside me
Well I'm finally moved in to my new house and got the internet going. While moving I came across this disk which contained a bunch of old originals. This one written some 20 years ago by my best friend and vocalist Craig Borglum, a very gifted singer songwriter. The recording is a bit low in quality but not that bad for 20 years ago.Craig sent me a cassett of him singing and playing the acoustic and I programmed the drums and played the bass on the bottom two strings of the guitar with ocassional two part harmony. The rest of the guitars I played . The drums were a challenge because of the varied tempos in his original recording. I made a tempo map and let it midi control the drum machine. It took days. I have one other that we did together in the same way,Let me know how yall like this one and if so I'll put up the other. Good to be back,I Love ya all, Johnbullard

John,
Welcome back, I enjoyed it very much, and great mix for 20 years ago. Great singing by Craig, and very nice guitar work. Its a keeper in my mp3 files.
You can fix my stuff anytime.

Sounds like it was well worth the effort you guys put into it, to my ears. Top track. You and your friend Craig are great musicians. It's a keeper for me too. Thanks for posting.

Great to have you back John, especially if you're sending us music of that quality. (Pass on our thanks and to Craig too).

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
