Babe I'm gonna leave you - Led Zeppelin
Hey,
This is just a short bit of Babe I'm Gonna Leave You with me attempting some lead near the end.
Great site, the lessons have been fantastic.

That song rules.. a song I know myself. I also learned the lead bit at the end, I could hear you playing a variation of it in there.
Have you checked out Kirk's 'classical gas' lesson? Elements of it are pretty similar to 'babe I'm gonna leave you', the chord arpeggio bits I guess.
Anyway, keep up the good work and keep learning the cool songs.

Tim,
Great job. That is one of my all time favorites and I've been working on it, too.
Heart was on PBS one night and when they did 'Crazy On You' I heard that Am-G-F run in it was like 'Baby, I'm Going To Leave You'.

I just heard the Led Zeppelin piece. Excellent work. You are no beginner that's for sure! It is really, really nice. I gotta play like that someday.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
