Hi! I've been playing guitar for about 5 months now.. so i'm still a beginner. Here are some songs I recorded.. It's played on a really bad starters guitar the first song is yesterday (by the beatles).. the second is a song from racoon (a dutch band).. the third song i arranged myself.
By the way... this is the best guitarsite i know off.. keep up the good work Kirk!

Well done, Goofy. After I'd been playing for 5 months I couldn't even play the chords for 'Yesterday' never mind a tricky fingerstyle arrangement! I like your own arrangement also. It just shows what can be done on guitar with a bit of subtlety and just a couple of finger movements per chord. In some ways it's not dissimilar to Neilsonite's recording with a litte repeating melody. I think it would benefit from a bridge section though. How about it, Goofy?

Beautiful playing Goofy, and after only 5 months, that's hard to believe! You definitely have great feel for it.
Congratulations and thanks for posting.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
