Biography:
I played guitar most of my life. Been in "jam" bands but never pro. Played all the Classic Rock late 60's and 70's stuff and some Guns and Roses;VanHalen, but I love Blues. I had a stroke from high blood pressure about 5 years ago. It took away my strength in my left fretting hand and left leg. I recovered and have returned to work, however was still unable to play guitar like I used to. Now all I can do is minimal fretting. I took up slide guitar to be able to continue playing guitar. Kirks great slide playing led me to this site. Well, now I am back jamming and rocking. I cant play like I used to....but I am the "go-to" Slide guy when someone needs it. Im still loving life and guitar. I have a beautiful wife "Nancy" the love of my life. We have been married 25 years. We were unable to have children....however we are blessed with many niece's and nephew's who vist us weekly.
