Well...........here's mine

Okay, got the Fender for my birthday last week and the other is the one I've been learning on..........no wonder I've been playing so badly (yeah, blame the axe).

Haha Seagull & AT........you're just too funny . You'll be sorry when I do post something (get those ear mufflers out). Actually was supposed to post my recording at the weekend but we were away from Saturday until yesterday and not home until quite late last night. Will definitely do it either one evening this week (although I have a Spanish assignment due that I need to get done) or this weekend. Then you'll be sorry..hehe.

Krissovo......absolutely love the Fender.........can't believe the difference in the sound........didn't realise how awful the other one was until I played it.

Neil........thanks so much for the birthday wishes......had a great party with family & friends.........brilliant getting everyone together.......so much fun.

Cheers everybody for your kind words.

Tracy

Very nice guitar. How's the action on it? I'm curious, did you try it at the store and had it earmarked for your b'day? Post that recording soon.

Thanks fly
Action on the Fender is nice & low and the width of the fretboard is narrower than the classical...........makes life a whole lot easier . Didn't have it earmarked.........had been looking at a Yamaha but my hubby got it for me........he'd actually bought me an electric Fender first but I was too scared so he went and changed it to the acoustic for me.

Promise to post when I can

Good choice getting the acoustic first.

I most definitely agree fly. Dunno if I'd ever get an electric.......love other people playing them but dunno how I'd cope...........suppose ya never know until ya try so who knows.........perhaps next year...!!

Bit of an advantage/disadvantage thing going on......fretboard on Fender is a lot narrower so finding it easier to form chords (although taking a bit of time getting used to positioning) but body of Fender is so much bigger so finding it more difficult to hold. Just a matter of getting used to it I suppose. Must say the tone is sweet though (until I start playing it that is.........)

Yes I will as soon as . Didn't get a chance last weekend and have been working on a Spanish assignment that's due tomorrow so definitely (if don't get a chance tomorrow evening) sometime over the weekend. Me scared.. !!

Only know one song but, perhaps, I'll be able to move on to another if I get some constructive criticism on what I need to work on. Have kinda started others but not getting anywhere.....just keep going back to the one I know.
