WOW...

That's a lot of STUFF!

I have one acoustic (Yahama FG-180) that I got in 1973-4, and two electrics (Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop 30th anniversary reissue and Fender Eric Clapton signature Stratocaster) - both of which I got in the last year since the Blues took over my consciousness...and both of which are keepers for life. Actually I had an identical '72 Les Paul that I got in '73 - but I sold it in '75 to pay the rent when I was a starving musician (literally). Now I'm a software engineer (been one for 20 years) so I have a lot less time to play, but I'm not starving!

And I have a small Marshall MS-4 microstack amp, a Digitech RP80 processor and a Dunlop 535 Crybaby wah pedal. And small stuff like a pocket-rocket plug in headphone amp thingy - but I live in a small condo and I'm seriously limited as to how much *noise* I can make...

You got a nice setup there Brian!!!

Jim

I have a question about your PRS.

What are those little triangular dealies on the tuning posts? I've only ever seen them on PRS's.

Those are only on PRSs. They are clamps that grab the string. Lot quicker to put on a string on and you don't have to stretch your strings when you put a new ones on like traditional posts and they don't go out of tune as easy either.

So, Brian,

Do you live to play or play to live? Impressive equipment list. Very Cool.

Hmmm ... I wouldn't mind being locked up in the basement if it had gear like that in it. Very nice.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
