My turn

My Gibson C1-Classic which is probably 15-20 years older than me, and my Schecter 006 Delux which I bought yesterday.

I bet that Schecter just screams. They make some fine guitars.

OK, now lets hear a song! Are you mainly an electric or classical guy?

Nice Moe. I bet the Gibson sounds nice now it's matured a bit.

I'm mainly a newbie-at-the-guitar guy. The electric is new, though, so certainly I'm better on the Gibson. I'd upload a recording, but I don't really have a microphone to do it with, or at least that's my story until I get good enough at a song or two.

Sure does. I can't tell any difference in sound quality between it and any of the $1000-$3000 classics I tried out at the store. The finish is cracked all over, the tuning pegs are a bit rusty, and the bridge is unglued and a bit warped, but the thing seems to play just fine.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
