Remember not to play it through your guitar amp. You need a bass amp or a mixer or you could damage the speaker in your guitar amp.

Yea man, that thing looks sweet. Hope it sounds just as great

Btw AT, do you mean not to play through ANY amp unless it's specifically designed as a bass amp? Not that I own a bass, but I borrowed my uncle's AmpTech amp and it looks like it could handle some low frequencies... So before I invite over some guy with a bass, should I check on it's properties just to be sure?

There is a strong chance of blowing your speakers. They are not designed to handle that kind of bass response. You can run a bass through a P.A. ,though if it has a tweeter, it will give a more non traditional bass sound. P.A.s are set up for a deeper bass response so the speakers can handle it.

I just bought this one off eBay for $54 shipped....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=7408339812

I don't have a bass amp, so I'll make sure to heed allthumbs warning. Although I do have a Gorilla practice amp that I could maybe find a cheap 8" speaker that could handle the bass and stick it in. This should be a fun toy to make more racket and terrorize the family.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
