My new toy

A Washburn Folk Acoustic- Electric Guitar with B-Band electronics.
This guitar is very loud for a slim body unplugged. Great neck. Very light. A friend of mine played it for two minutes and is going to get one himself. He has been looking at guitars for three weeks and this is the one that feels perfect for him. Because it is a slim body , it is much more trebley than my full bodied Norman which is taking me a while to get used to. I am very pleased with it. Ultimate Garage Band gave me a great deal on it and set it up perfectly for me. Thanks Man. This is a finger pickers guitar. Low action, bright tones, slim neck. I love it.

UGB sells them so ask him. I don't imagine there's much he doesn't know about washburns. He has an E18 that kills plugged in.

Thats looks like a real good buy allthumbs. I'm gonna have to convince UGB to set up a shop here where I live.

She's a nice player Marty. That was the first of that model I ever got in and I was totally taken by surprize at how well the unplugged sound was. What a comfortable, easy playing guitar. For the record, that model is not considered a Festival series but a Folk series. Folks are F, Festivals EA, Dreadnoughts D, Classical C, etc. I've got another on order but it's not come in yet. I can't wait.

Looks really good. I've got a Yamaha APX-3, which I bought about a year ago, simply because it was the only 'slimline' I could get here in Oz. at a reasonable price. It's okay, but I had to do a lot of setup work on it and I'd describe it's sound as pretty average. Looking at that Washburn almost makes me tempted to rethink my mail order policy ....

Probably cost about the same as the guitar to get it here in one piece ......

It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
