Bad news about the twins

Okay if you people remember my twins, well I got some bad news. The new twin is gone. I gave her away. FREE

Sometimes you have to ask yourself how many fingers and hands do you have. So why do I need so many guitars when I can only play one at a time. So I gave my guitar away. end of story

I guess I liked the one on the right clancy, the one I didn't like the sound. Cause I gave the better guitar to my buddy. But thats life, when you give something give the best. And I do believe the left one was the better of the twins

Well that was very generous of you Alfcarguy, especially giving away the best one out of the two. I guess your buddy couldn't believe his luck.

Good for you.

I remember the post, just not sure of keeping a guitar you don't like. Sell the twin you don't like and get something that makes you smile.

I liked the one I have but it doesn't mean it was the better guitar.

Maybe one of these day's you will understand money and things aren't what makes the world go round. I've given people money before. Said here's a $1000 Shalom. Its the same thing. Its about were the heart is.

Will you die for your stuff will you sell your soul for it. In the end you realize that its not whats important in life. Its just something you can enjoy. Something to have is some one you can care for ,to love ,to hold ,to talk with, can a piece of wood do that. Its about people, and thats what it was about a person. Who's need or wants I seen.

I say good on you alfcarguy, but I think its debatable if what you did makes you scootish?, however you can allways buy another guitar (and have alot of fun looking) but a good friend is not so easy to come by.

regards,
Jim from sunny Sydney

Lighten up Alfaguy. I couldn't care less about the money. In my world ,it is not uncommon to see acts of kindness like yours. I am sure there are many members here who have given from their hearts as you have. They are just quieter about it.
The point I was trying to make is that if it were me, I would be always comparing the sound of the lesser quality guitar to the one I gave away. I would trade or buy a guitar at least equal to the one I gave away, but thats just me. Give all your guitars away and play a carboard box with rubber bands if it makes you happy.
