New Old Strat

Took a chance and bought a USA Strat on ebay which arrived via good old Aussie Post yesterday , very very happy with what I ended up with , though certainly not mint sounds and plays well. Short on info but if figure its around 1999, has locking tuners and lace sensor pickups but a standard (i think) nut and a string tree so I presume not a strat plus .Photo is from one from the Ebay ad not my pic .

Looks very nice Mattz, congrats. According to the Fender product dating page, a '99 US Strat would have a serial of;
N8 + 5 or 6 DIGITS
N9 + 5 or 6 digits
V + 5 or 6 digits (American Vintage Series except '52 Telecaster) starting with N8 or N9. You'll find it here.

.:: FenderŪ.com ::.

This site is not Fender but has lots of good info. too.
