I love that axe! Very nice!!
I read somewhere that learning to play was a sort of negotiation between you and your guitar. I now believe it.

Red guitars are good, but red SGs have been a favorite of mind since the dawn of time. Just a classic look like a sunburst Strat or a goldtop Les Paul.
Look out, Louise Post, you have competition!

Doesn't Malcom Young play a Gretsch? You guys are the AC/DC family.

Pete Townshend, Eric Clapton and George Harrison each played both Gretsches and SGs. The Edge of U-2, also... so I guess they had a lot of sounds to pick from. But now we're going to have to wait and see what he replaces the Gretsch with!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
