Price was right
Did some pc repair for my neighbor and he threw in this as a bonus, thought I might like it. He handles Estate sales, and this was buried in the stuff they we're going to throw out. So looks like I have no excuse now, not to learn some of that finger style playing.
Its beat up pretty rough[cracks in the finish} and I can't get strings til the morning, but whats on there sounds good enough for tonight[missing the 1 string}. Its a Estrada CL-4 If anyones ever heard of them, all I could find on-line was that Suzuki manufactured guitars under the Estrada name, Thats all the tag shows inside {Estrada CL-4 made in japan}. Any knowledge would be appreciated....I don't know the 1st thing about classicals, or for that matter any guitar, but its approx. 34" total length, solid cedar top, and some nice inlay in the bridge and on the headstock.

I'm sure it will play just fine. After all the label says "Quality Guaranteed". Just joking. For the price can it possibly be bad?
Like they say. A bad day (playing golf, fishing, playing guitar - insert which ever you like) is better than a good day at work.

I saw someone with a Tee Shirt the other day that said "No, I will not fix your PC". I wanted that shirt, but this could put a new spin on those sorts of requests.
Them: Can I pay you to fix my PC?
Me: Got any guitar gear?

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
