Thought I would put mine up here!

I got this guitar from my Mom about 10-12 years ago for Christmas. It is a p.t. Samik, Laredo. From what I can tell the Laredo name is not used for acoustic guitars anymore, only acoustic/electric. I think it sounds pretty good, I guess. Not really enough playing time to know good from bad. One thing I really like is the finish on the guitar. It is a flat finsh which I don't see often, usually it is a varnished finish.

Nice looking guitar.

Nice guitar! I like the satin finish on acoustics also - both the look and the feel.

that baby will do just fine! as long as you like it and play it you will enjoy it. It looks like it's in good condition too, even though it's 10-12 years old.
You can get some great help here on the site too.

Sweet solid Cedar top on that Laredo, I, too, play Samicks and one of their cedar Carolina SJ's is my next buy. I hope you enjoy it.

It preety much sat in the attic that whole time....that's probably why it is in good shape. I plan on putting quite a few miles on it now, though.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
