It's good to see Dean moving away from that huge headstock. I think that keeps a lot of people from buying their guitars.

Very cool, Scott - congrats on a nice guitar. It has kind of a PRS look to it.

You mean the one thats used on the Dimebag Darrel series? That acually looks good on heavy metal shred machines. But not on other stuff.

Yesterday was history, tommrow is a mystery, today is a gift. I'm moving on and starting over. There are things that have been done and past. You cannot change what's done but you can change what has not been. I will fall down and I'll pick myself back up again.

Thanks. Just wish I knew more about this guitar. All the Icons i've seen have only 2 knobs and 1 toggle. As you can see this one has more. Even the people at the Dean forum don't have a clue about this particular model. It's cool buying used and getting alot of guitar for the same money, but the lack of information kinda sucks. It plays really well however and goes from an almost harp like sound to shredding metal with the click of a pedal. It's going to take alot of cash when I go looking to get another electric of the same quality.

Dean's are sweet! You can go and have a bite and you'll still be hearin' that one!
I've got a Dean acoustic and it plays real nice too,
Enjoy

It's probably a pre-2001 model.

Thanks for the link. The headstock is certainly different. I imagine my guitar has also been modified a bit. I'm just glad whoever did it knew what he was doing. Thanks again.
