My Little Baby

Hi

I've only been playing for 2 months, but I have already had a gas attack. I travel to Norway quite a bit so got interested in this guy called Řivin Fjeld who has produced this little baby. It's called the G# Guitar because it is in the tuning G#D#BF#C#G#.

So when I found an ex-demo model in the UK I couldn't resist! I've parked it next to my acoustic so you can see just how titchy it actually is!

Cheers

Alan

Hi Brandon

You wouldn't want to hear the sound it makes when I'm playing it But if you want to hear it played properly, there are some great demos on their website. I don't think I am allowed to post links, but if you google 'G-Sharp Guitar' you'll find them.

Wow that is nice. The sound is great. I'm happy for you!

Myself, I couldn't imagine learning to fretboards ... I have enough difficulty with one.

Actually, it's just like playing standard tuning with a capo on the fourth fret, so it's not that bad!

Looks like it'd be a great little travel guitar!

Yes, with my Merridian hipflask amp which is the size of, well, a hipflask actually and some headphones, I have a very compact package for practicing in hotel rooms etc.. The only problem is flying with it. Although it is less than 90cm long, it still exceeds the maximum length for hand luggage

My playing is pretty poor, but as I said in an earlier post, their website has lots of great samples, just google 'G-Sharp Guitar'.

Cheers
